During my diploma course at the UX Design Institute, I dove headfirst into the world of UX research, and wow, what a ride it was! I learned how every element of research shapes a product’s success - from taking meticulous notes during usability testing to building affinity diagrams and crafting detailed user journey maps. It was like piecing together a giant puzzle, and each step brought the design closer to the user’s needs.
The result? A fully interactive prototype with 23 beautiful screens! The concept was all about booking a hotel room - with or without some fun add-on gifts - and seamlessly moving through the final payment step. Bringing it all together, from the research to the pixel-perfect design, was such a rewarding experience. Watching an idea transform into a user-friendly product felt like magic!
